    Question Unanswered: Family Anniversary Dates

    Hello,

I am working on creating a database for an upcoming family reunion. I have been add features to the database to kind of have one consolidated list of information (birthdays addresses etc) for my extended family. However, I am having trouble trying to think of something for organizing anniversaries. It's kind of nice to list all anniversaries on one report based on the list. I should be able to do that part just fine, what I'm wondering about is if I should add new fields in the main information table called AnniversaryID and AnniversaryDate and start pairing couples together with a date or if I'm just not thinking of something that would make this process a whole lot easier. I would really like it to be a simple process that anyone working on the database would be able to do rather than have to make it a long drawn out process.

    Thank you for assistance,

I would go down line line of thinking

    Table 1 = familys
    FamilyID
    Fname
    Surname
    ...
    ...

    Table 2 = Anniversary

    AnniversaryID
    ADate = Anniversary Date
What = what Anniversary is it
FamilyID = ID Form the Family Table

This way 1 family can have meny Anniversary

What the What make a Combo box that Look at it else in the forms
The combo box will grow as the Anniversary grow
    hope this help

    See clear as mud
