    Simple.

    In the Detail_Format method put:

    If IsNull(TextBoxA) then Cancel=1

    Should do the trick ...
    Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...

    hmm.. dint worked.. it just dissappeared the whole line while my concern was only making column b invisible.. ofcourse there are more columns then that. but the criteria is related for these two columns only .. in short if column A is null then only Column B should Disappear

    You didn't say that ... But try this:

    Same place ...

    If IsNull(TxtBoxA) then
    TxtboxA.Visible=False
    TxtboxB.Visible=False
    else
    TxtboxA.Visible=True
    TxtboxB.Visible=True
    endif
    Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...
