    Unanswered: creating materialized views with cursors

    Can someone give me the correct syntax for creating a materialized view with a cursor in Oracle?

    What would that exactly be? As far as I know, cursors have nothing to do with materialized views. Did you perhaps mix terms? What are you trying to do?

    Materialized views (formerly known as snapshots are database objects that store result of a query. Usually they are used to locally store data that, actually, exists in a remote database, for warehousing purposes etc.
