    Unanswered: DB2 backup issue

    DB2 8.1 on AIX 5.2

We had a filesystem corruption that our unix admins were able to recover from but now we get this message when we try to run a offline backup. I checked the state on the tablespaces and everything looks fine.

    any ideas???

    thanks

    Mark

Try running db2dart against that tablespaces (and other, too). Also, check that the owner of the files is the db2 instance owner - your admins might have messed up file permissions.
