    Unanswered: Italian in form

    I have a problem retrieving italian or other languages characters from a form like .
    I send this form via email and I insert some values in a ms access database and at both cases I have problems with characters like (an example from db: Chβteau ).
    I use the code a=trim(server.htmlencode(reguest.form("value")) to retrieve values, I try also setting enconding 1252.
    Is there a solution?

    Code:
    <%@LANGUAGE="VBSCRIPT" CODEPAGE="1252"%>
    If you used it like this and it didn't work, maybe your meta tag is incorrect or in conflict

    Code:
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">
    Also, is your database configured to accept these inputs?

    The Server HtmlEncode should handle that, not sure why it's not...

    Lemme know if this helped.
