    theres data modelling tools which may or may not have that capability
    Fabforce's dbDesigner
    MySQL's Workbench
    Heidi's HeidiSQL
    amongst others

    but you don't need those, you can use tools like MySQL's Administrator

    or you can use plain SQL in tools lke MySQL's Query Browser

    or you can even use plain SQL in a command line context in the MySQL console
    I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

    Fabforce is no longer developed. I like SQL*Power's Power*Architect. It's open source and free. Not as sophisticated as commercial tools (especially when it comes to printing) but does a nice job.
    The model is stored in XML format, so it's pretty easy to work around some problems using self-written XSLT
