    Unanswered: Select generating truncated results

    Hi All,

I am running this select query

    (select table_a.id, table_a.name, table_b.date, table_b.text from table_a INNER JOIN table_b on table_a.id=table_b.id where table_b.text between "2006-06-15 03:12:00.000000' and '2006-06-20 18:34:51.000000')

Now the text column of table_b is a CLOB and I am getting tuncated results for this column everytime I run this query. Also I wanted to send the output of this query to a .xls, so I used the export command to do that, but even then I am getting truncated results.

    ENV: DB2 UDB v8.2, AIX

I would appreciate any help in this.

    Thanks
    Anks

In some DB2 interfaces, and certain export modes (unless you define a seperate LOB file), the LOB will be truncated at 32K, or possibly less depending on the interface.
