    Unanswered: New Email

Is it possible with VB code to open up Microsoft Outlook and then open a new email, fill in the To, CC, Subject, and Body, without sending the email.

I was using the DoCmd.SendObject method, but now my boss wants the email to stay open in case he wants to add anything to the email before it's sent.

If anyone can offer any help I would greatly appreciate it.

The ninth arguement of the sendobject method, the EditMessage arguement, can be used for that. Hit F1 while the cursor is within the SendObject method name, and check out the sample there (to edit, pass True).

You can also use DoCmd.Display instead to give it focus after the email is created and populated with the other information.

do a search on the net for referencing outlook from access. I used to use the method that you are using, but found it couldn't be used for adding mutiple attatchments.

Thank you all for your help, and sorry for the delay in replying, I was on vacation.
