Unanswered: Loading CRLF characters from a flat file using sqlldr
I have a data file which has records containing CRLF characters like this:
1^~*** PRASHANT *** August 5, 2000 at 1:52pm \x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A\x00 Life is good\x0D\x0APARTNER IS good / no license W/ ABC\x0D\x0A sensex index Door is locked\x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A*** DOC *** May 3, 1997 at 3:42pm \x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A*** DOC *** May 25, 1995 at 12:59pm \x0D\x0A\x0D\x0Aissue 123 \x0D\x0ALife is goodx0D\x0A\x0D\x0A**********************\x0D\x0A\ x0D\x0A
Here ^~ are column delimiters. The table has two columns, one integer and other is CLOB. I need to load many rows like this in Oracle table using sqlldr. Now problem is that these rows get inserted AS IS. I need sqlldr to take care of CRLF characters like \0xD\0xA and load the data as it is in SOURCE along with the line breaks.
