    Question Unanswered: ALT+ENTER replaced with <% Response.Write Replace(rsx("Text"), vbCrLf, "<br>")%>????

Ok I know this question is going to be all over the map. First of I have an ASP sight which pulls info from a database and then is formatted to a excel web sheet.

My problem is, is that when ever the customer inputs thier info with a <ENTER> or vbCrLf it causes the data to shift to a new cell row. Yet if I don't do the ....
    Code:
    <% Response.Write Replace(rsx("Text"), vbCrLf, "<br>")%>
It all remains in one cell.

In excel to have a character return you have to ALT+ENTER

does any one know if there is a value for this key combination that will work?

Not sure what you mean, but this works:

    =CHAR(10)
    old, slow, and confused
    but at least I'm inconsistent!

    Unhappy not working

    Code:
    char(10)
    chr(10)
    char(13)
    chr(13)
    chr(10)&chr(13)
any combonation of the above doesn't work

    Code:
    vbCr
    vbLf
    don't work
    Code:
    ALT 10
    no success

    Anyone else have any ideas???
