    Performance Improvement

There certainly may be room for improvement, however, onstat -p does not provide sufficient information to make that determination. IDS is issuing foreground writes, buffer waits are high and there is some sequential scanning going on.

A thorough health check of your system could help you determine what actions can be taken to improve performance.

If you post your onconfig file others may be able to make suggestions and you may find information at this site that will help:

    bufwaits is too high.

Use the Buffer Turnover Ratio and Bufwaits Ratio formulas to determine the acceptable ratio.
