    Unanswered: Oracle Clusterware installation problem

    Hi all,
I'm trying to install Oracle Clusterware on a two node cluster.
Everything goes fine till the point where the OUI ask me to execute as root the script:

    /oracle_snfs/crs/oracle/product/10/app/root.sh

It gives me the next error:

    ************************************************** *******************
WARNING: directory '/oracle_snfs/crs/oracle/product/10' is not owned by root
WARNING: directory '/oracle_snfs/crs/oracle/product' is not owned by root
WARNING: directory '/oracle_snfs/crs/oracle' is not owned by root
WARNING: directory '/oracle_snfs/crs' is not owned by root
Checking to see if Oracle CRS stack is already configured

Setting the permissions on OCR backup directory
    Setting up NS directories
    PROT-1: Failed to initialize ocrconfig
Failed to upgrade Oracle Cluster Registry configuration
    ************************************************** *******************

I don't know how pass this phase.

    Can anybody help me?
    Thanks in advance.

"is not owned by root" - so, who owns those directories? It seems that installation procedure requires you to install it as ROOT, not some other user.

When you ran the script /oracle_snfs/crs/oracle/product/10/app/root.sh, did you login the server a the root user and then run the script before continuing on? Running as root, you will NEVER get any permission errors from the script.
