    Unanswered: Format Text Box

I have a text box on a form. The old format for this box was something like "EP@@@", but now we are knocking off the "EP" and just having the "@@@".

I'm trying to figure out some way of preventing the user from entering in the archaic format. I tried putting @@@ in the format for this box, but it doesn't seem to work.

Is there some code I could put in the On Exit event of the text box to check the format?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Try checking either the length of the entry or if the left 2 charactors are 'EP' in the Before Update event.

    Thank you for your response.

I figured out that in my vast stupidity, I didn't do anything with the Input Mask. So a little ">AAA" there fixed the problem.
