    Unanswered: Opening a .mdb file from another .mdb file

    I have designed some simple Access applications for my company. I would like to create a simple access application that allows users to use any one of the applications I created from, say a combo box in a form. How can I open another access application from a seperate access application? Someone pls help!!!

    Hi Neoman

    Welcome to the forum

    Some simple access automation (obviously you can change it to suit your needs):
    Code:
    Public Function fAccAutomation() As Boolean

        Dim oAcc As Access.Application

        Set oAcc = New Access.Application

        oAcc.OpenCurrentDatabase "C:\test.mdb", False

        oAcc.Visible = True

        oAcc.DoCmd.OpenForm "form1"

        fAccAutomation = True
        Set oAcc = Nothing

    End Function
