    Question Unanswered: DB2 export utility.

    Hi All,
As far as I know the export utility exports data to a file as we may need.
I just wanted to know if DB2 provides any utility where we can export multiple tables at one go (under a specific schema name?)

    Please advise.
    Regards
    Ayusman.

    Sure.
UNLOAD can export multiple tables, at least on z/OS (mainframe).
The exported file will typically have a first column which identifies the table.
LOAD can be asked to load only rows that satisfy a certain condition, e.g., have a certain value in the first column.

Don't know about EXPORT but I guess that there will be similar possibilities; check the syntax documentation.

Look at the db2move command, which is documented in the Command Reference manual.

    db2move <DBNAME> export -tn T* -sn EONE
This will export all tables like T% and with the schema name EONE .
