Unanswered: IIS & SQL Server on Same Server - Risks???

I have a third-party application that requires IIS. The application will only be accessed internally by employees. What are the risks of combining IIS and SQL Server on the same server?

    Thanks, Dave

resource contention and security. you need to be worried about security internally. I have had problems with malicous users before.
“If one brings so much courage to this world the world has to kill them or break them, so of course it kills them. The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” Earnest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms.

What are the security issues associated with IIS 6? I'm aware IIS 5 had a large number of issues, but I've read where IIS 6 resolved many of the issues.

    Thanks, Dave
