Unanswered: Want to VLOOKUP where target is "contained" within, rather than being the whole value

I need to look up a value in a table and return some neighbouring results. Seems a simple job for VLOOKUP.

However, within the table_array, the lookup_value, will not be the whole cell value, merely a part of it.

An example. I want to VLOOKUP a value of D123 and retunr the next two columns. However within the table array, there might be a cell containing "C543, D123, G432". I want to find this result. So a simple VLOOKUP alone won't do.

I think i need some sort of "FIND" within it as well.

    It's ok, solved it.

    Used wildcards as in "=VLOOKUP("*"&A5094&"*",M:M,1,FALSE)"

So, not even lunchtime and i've learnt somethnig already.
