    Unanswered: most common

I posted in the wrong place before.

    Hi all,
I have created a database in Access 2003 ver that I keep track of sales by personnel. The report the users requested are: sales by location and sales by user. I have complete these task without any problems. Now the director wants the most common sales made by a user. I can't get any logic around this to even began to give him what he needs. Can someone point me in the right direction. I was thinking a query and counting the type of sales. Some guidance here please.

A couple of questions you need to ask first. Are common sales by dollars or by quantity? Then when you when you know that you will sort the sales descending by that amount and that the Top n Values for each user. Here is an article on Microsoft on how to do it.
