    Unanswered: Multiple users

I have built an Access DB where there are multiple users. If one user is on and another user tries to get on, the DB doesn't allow the 2nd user access.

How do you allow multiple users at once with Access?

The normal approach is to SPLIT your database in two. Have a "back end" which ONLY holds the data tables, and a "front End" which contains the forms, reports, querys, etc., and which has linked tables, pointing to the back end database.

Each user gets their own copy of the front end.

Or perhaps change the Open Mode to "Shared" ... How to? Go to Tools->Options->Advanced->Default Open Mode
Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...
