    Question Unanswered: ManyToMany Relationship Help

    Hi,

This might be a silly question, but is there a way to automatically create the junction table in access. I find it very difficult creating this table manually with two ID fields. This is probably a newbie question, but if you could direct me to a solution this would save me a HUGE amount of time!!

    Thanks in advance!

There's no "automatic" way to do it, but depending on the data/structure of the tables you want to do a junction on, it may not be as bad as you think.

If you can provide a sample db with the tables you want to junction, and describe how the keys link up, I can probably write the query which will create the junction.

However, you'll have to consider if this will be a "one time thing" or if you need a solution which will maintain the data as records get added to the tables on the outside of the junction.

Let me know if the outer tables will be static or dynamic and we'll go from there...
