    Unanswered: Log management using logarchmeth1

I'm archiving logs to disk using logarchmeth1. I specified:
    (LOGARCHMETH1) = DISK:/data/db2/primary_log2/DBLIQ001/archive/, however db2 create /data/db2/primary_log2/DBLIQ001/archive/db2inst2/DBLIQ001/NODE0000/C0000009 and now C0000010.

Does db2 have a method to purge archived logs, since the directory changes? Any suggestions on other methods to manage logs?

    Thanks

DB2 will not purge the archive logs.
