Unanswered: is there a way to know the time a user connected to DB2?

Is there a log of some sort either inside DB2 or on linux that describes that user X connected to $db2instance at `date` or something close?

    DB2 8.1.5
    SLES8 (kernel 2.4.19-SUSEsmp)

Not really. That would give you the connection status change time (i.e. time of the last operation).

GET SNAPSHOT FOR APPLICATIONS ON <db name> will have the connection timestamp.
