    Unanswered: Access - create table from recordset

    If I use vb to open a recordset (using a query definition), is there any way that I can create a new table that contains all of the records in that recordset? I've been searching the web all day and haven't yet found anything that will work for me. I'm working in Access 2000, DAO.

    The simplest way is to issue a SQL command (cn.Execute strSQL), rather than loading an unneeded recordset.

    Two options using SQL.

    Code:
    strSQL = "SELECT FieldList INTO ... "
    or

    Code:
    strSQL = "INSERT INTO TABLE1 SELECT * FROM T2 ..."
