    Unanswered: C++ word document

    Hey experts,

    has anyone ever used vc++ to command windows to open a word document?
    If so could you advise me on how to do this... if its really complicated it doesnt matter.

    A lot depends on just what you want to do once you've opened the window... The Quick and Dirty way to simply open a .DOC file via Word is to simply launch the document.

    Depending on which compiler you're using and what environment you're targeting, you've got lots of choices.

    Unhappy no luck

    hmm i cant find it anywhere...

    im using m$ vc++ 2005, with MFC forms.

    i need to pass a variable (ie 1923.txt) to a line of code (or many?).

    Any help on this matter would be very greatfully recieved
