    Unanswered: Ignore Alpha Characters

Is there a way to ignore alpha characters in a query? I have a table full of numbers that look like this:

    dfdf978545dd
    dfg9865471tf
    sds9865381sw

I need a query to remove the numbers and return this:

    978545
    9865471
    9865381

into a new table. I am thinking a maketable query that removes the alphacharacters- is that possible?

Not out of the bag. You'll need to write a function that iterates through each character in the string and tosses it if it is not numeric.
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

Are there any rules\ formats? Fixed number of chars? Numbers either always start at position 3 or 4 and continue to position 10? If so there might be a shortcut. Otherwise Teddy is spot on.
