    Unanswered: Passing a BLOB object from Java to PL/SQL Procedure - ORA-01460

    I pass a BLOB object as a ByteArray to a PL/SQL Procedure from Java.
    Whenever the length of the ByteArray crosses 4000, the code throws the following error;
    ORA-01460: unimplemented or unreasonable conversion requested

    Please throw some light if any of you have any solution.

    Thx,

    Let me make it clearer.
    I pass an object from Java as a bytearray to a PL/SQL procedure. The proc takes it in as a BLOB Input parameter.
    As long as the bytearray's length is less than 4000, the code works fine. When the length crosses 4000, the following error is thrown;
    ORA-01460: unimplemented or unreasonable conversion requested

    Hope its clearer now.

    Thx,
    AI
