    Unanswered: Access 2003 Query question.

I have a query in which I am try to find out how many cars a customer bought. I do not know how to total up a field. Here is the layout of the database.

The first table is contacts. Has all the users contact information. The next table is tblsales. It house all the sales information. The last table is saleslineitems. it holds the actuall individual products purchased for the whole invoice number. If you need anymore information I can supply it. Thanks for all the help. I might just need to know how to total up quantitiy for the invoice id on the table saleslineitem.

Found out that if you do count(tblname) AS [what you want to call the field] it will total all of the units purchased.
