    Unanswered: Join table like that

    Hi: Is it possible to join table like that:

    SELECT tech_id.CORP, tech_id.TECH, tech_id.TECHCONT
    FROM tbl_PPVResearch INNER JOIN tech_id ON Mid([tbl_PPVResearch].[AccountNum],1,5) = tech_id.CORP;

    Thanks in advance.

    don't know

    What I would do is create a new Query with the Join:Mid([tbl_PPVResearch].[AccountNum],1,5) as a feild

    then join the New query to the tech_id
    hope this help
