Unanswered: Making edits slow on Terminal Server

I have a database that is on a Terminal Server and when making simple form changes (example: moving a text box around) it will lag really bad.
Most of the time it doesn't but if I open Excel, then go back to Access it will take 5-10 seconds for it to accept anything I do. I don't understand what's wrong.
I looked at the task manager and there is not a large spike in CPU or memory when doing this stuff, so it's not like I'm running out of resources.
If I use the database on my local machine it works fine and I have no issues.
    Has anyone experienced this before?
    Thanks,

I've since realized it has something to do with the linked tables. If I import the tables into the database, instead of having them linked from another Access DB the problem goes away.
    Anyone?

    Terminal Server

Either that or your Terminal Server service somehow is not allocating enough resources to MSAccess itself or SQL Server is lacking although I think this would show - I think we had a case where it didn't show up.

Where in relation is the database with the actual tables and the database with the linked tables when you open it through Terminal Services?

Are they both on the same LAN?

Are they connected through a VPN?

So it only happens if you open Excel and then go back to Access?

Or does it happen when you open any other programs?

The user just showed me Excel and Outlook both did it.
It may or may not happen with other programs
