    Unanswered: connection string for access db

    hi all,

    i have make a password for my access database, however, i need to know how should i form my connection string to connect the db with password

    Here is my connection string.. for example my password is v2.1

    ConnectionString = _
    "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;" + _
    "Data Source=" & DBSource & ";Persist Security Info= False; Password=v2.1"

    This doesnt work, what did i missed out.

    just to add in some information

    ConnectionString = _
    "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;" + _
    "Data Source=" & DBSource & ";Persist Security Info= False; Password=v2.1;"

    and DBSource is the path to the db.

    this connection string is working when i didnt set the password, i think now the problem is the way i present the password is failing.

    Is that the actual password? Do you have special characters in the real pass?
    oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

    any problem using a dot?
