    Unanswered: Auto Spell Check a field on a Form

    Is there a way to have a memo field, once data has been entered, do a spell check just on that field only? (using Access 2003)

    Try this code in either the BeforeUpdate event or the LostFocus event of your Form's Memo field:

    Code:
    With Me!myMemoFieldName
      If Len(.Value) > 0 Then
        DoCmd.SetWarnings False
        .SelStart = 1
        .SelLength = Len(.Value)
        DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdSpelling
         .SelLength = 0
        DoCmd.SetWarnings True
      End If
    End With
    .
    Environment:
    Self Taught In ALL Environments.....And It Shows!

    Works great on the After Lost Focus command, thanks for your help. I had it another way, but it was trying to spell check the entire form.
