Unanswered: How to suppress key violation dialog box

I want to suppress a key violation dialog box.

On click I print a name tag and append a row to an attendance table. The primary key is date and student_id. If the record has already been added to the table, I want to suppress the key violation dialog box.

    Any suggestions?
