Unanswered: logarchmeth1 and 2 for archiving logs

    Hi,
Till now I had been using the USEREXIT program the old fashioned way to archive my logs. But now I have been trying to use the logarchmeth1 parameters to archive the logs. Can someone send me links where there is a step by step method to implement this so that I can archive logs to TSM?
Also is it neccessary to have a C compiler for this purpose?

    logarchmeth1

    just 1 command
db2 update db cfg for dbname using logarchmeth1 TSM
this will archive the logs with tsm without userexit = no c-compiler is needed
archive is called by db2 itself (or an api of db2)
