Unanswered: Linking Access to Oracle Some Tables Missing

I have a microsoft access database that uses an odbc connection to link to oracle 10i tables. The window that opens which contains tables that can be linked to seems to be missing some tables. All the tables I want to link to are missing. The missing tables were created with the system login. When I login to the odbc connection I use the same login I used to create the tables(system).

Just a wild guess, but is the Primary Key for the tables a data type that is not suppoted by Access?

I learned recently that if Access cannot support the data type and that data type is used for the Primary Key then Access will not work properly to display the records.

The only thing I can think of is that Access knows that it cannot support the Primary Key and so does not display the tables. Again, wild guess, but hopefully gives you a direction.

Thanks for your reply. I figured the issue out. I could not see the tables in oracle because they were created with the system login.
