    Unanswered: create existing table

"create existing table" can use to transform the sql-select output from a sp for further processing. but can it allow to join existing table:
    e.g.
    create procedure po_t1 (@p1 char(8) )
    as
    begin
    select ret_date=convert(datetime,@p1)
    end
    go
    CREATE EXISTING TABLE t1
    (ret_out1 datetime not null, _p1 char(8) null)
    EXTERNAL PROCEDURE AT "loopback.database..po_t1"
    go
    create table #t1 (col_1 char(8) )
    go
    insert #t1(col_1) values("20060101")
    insert #t1(col_1) values("20060201")
    go
    select ret_out1 from t1,#t1 where _p1=col_1
    go
    ----
    error return
    Server 'loopback', Line 1:
Procedure po_t1 expects parameter @p1, which was not supplied.
Server Message: Number 3621, Severity 10
    ---
but it works when i run
    select ret_out1 from t1 where _p1 ="20060101"

    pls help ... thx

I have the same error based on your examples. Maybe quasi table that derives from a stredproc can only accept variable and constant value as parameters. But practically this is not advisable, imagine every row will create a loopback to your storedproc and this will be too expensive because loopback creates another connection.
