    Unanswered: Linking to website file.

Is it possible to create a linked table in access to a file on a website.

    Like www.myserver.com/file.txt

    Thanks

Link the data source to a table/file on the web? Good question. I've never tried that. Is that getting down to the ASP programming type?

    Hey Paul,
Can't that be done with just using a Hyperlink field? Maybe I don't understand it well but that's what it seems to me.

Yes you can use the hyperlink field but I understood from his post that he actually wanted to tie the data source (i.e. entire table) via a hyperlink as a "linked table" into MSAccess itself (and design a form/report, etc. around the linked table). I think I may have misread what he's trying to do as he mentioned linked table.
