    Exclamation Unanswered: Addition of Records

    Hi,

I use a formula field in crystal reports to get the sum of a field.

I find that the last record of the field is getting added twice and so i'm not getting the exact value.

for ex: if there are two records for a field.

    field name:num
    record1:1
    record2:2

The addition of this field should produce the result as 3. but the last record's value(2) is getting added once again to the final value and produces the result as 5.

    Can someone help me

me too have faced the same.
i don't exactly recollect the solution but it was something like putting this field in the group footer or something.
Also try using the eventhandlers like "while printing"
