Question Unanswered: Unexpected error from external database driver (10019)

Access 2000 - I have tried to import a DBF database into Access several times in the past and I was successful. This database has character, numeric and date fields. For the last couple of days I have being trying to import it again and all I get is the message "Unexpected error from external database driver (10019)" I have not been able to find what can cause this problem. Please Help.

What has changed with the setup? This still sounds like a driver issue.

Possibly MDAC on the Microsoft website (sorry - I don't have the address), otherwise possibly via the Microsoft MSAccess/Office install itself.

Thnak you all for your help. It is appreciated.
I just got a resolution from Microsoft as follows: Article ID: 306095, Title: 'ACC2000: "Unexpected Error from External Database Driver 8458" Error Message When You Import DBase III File.' In my case it worked at the third step. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.
