    Unanswered: reject rows while copying

    I can not copy some table's rows.copy process exports rows from table creates new table but can not import rows.it is written rows are rejected.
    what is the problem?

    yes a column has automatic value generation property.
    When I make value generation none and then copy it is okey.
    But I need the db2 command to find which columns have constraints before copying.is it possible?

    import

    there are options with import to ignore.. generated keys
    have a look at online infocenter and import and option modified by ...
    all information is in the catalogs :
    have a look at syscat views or sysibm tables and find the table
    (sysindexes...) that keeps the info depending on what you are looking for

    you can also specify message file in ur import statement which will contain details of successfull and failed statement with error code

    db2 import from myfile.ixf of ixf messages msg.txt insert into staff
