Unanswered: SQL Select on values without headers

    DB2 v8.2
    Aix 5.2

When I do a SELECT count(*) on a table I get this back

    1
    -----------
    57065

    1 record(s) selected.

I only want to get the value back

    57065

Is there a SQL command to remove these headers or easy shell cmd?

    Thanks,
    Charles.

db2 -x "SQL Stmt" for a single stmt

    or
use db2 "update command options" command for the entire session
