    Unanswered: 2G of memory

I'm using ASE 12.0.0.8, may i know how to configure the total memory to 2G or more? By the way my OS is W2k server.

    Are you asking:
1 what unix (kernel parms, etc) you need to set, or
2 what ASE parms you need to set ?

On Windows you need to boot the system with a special flag (/3G or something like that - I'm not a windows admin so I don't know the exact details) to allow the OS to access up to 2.7 GB of RAM.

    Investigate using /PAE and /3GB in boot.ini
The Physical Address Extension (PAE) enables applications to address more than 4 GB of physical memory
the /3GB switch limits the OS to 1 GB ram (instead of the default 2 GB) leaving the rest for applications.
