    Unanswered: How to list the "first n" records?

    CR V7

    Can someone tell me how to list the first N (as opposed to the topN) records in a report? Ie, once the recourd count is greater than N, I no longer need to report them.

    In the select expert select the group option and give the condtion:

    if {abc.xyz}>n then false else true;

    this will print the records upto n only.

    Thanks for your help.

    I actually achieved this by usung the Format Section and suppressing lines if recordcount more than 6.

    Yes!

    This coming weekend I'm flying to Ireland with my family and plan to get in one day's fishing for Pike! I'm also looking to fly to Guatemala next February to fish for marlin, dorado and sailfish. Flights a bit too expensive at the moment - I'll see how they go nearer to the year-end!

    What about you - any plans/done much?
