Unanswered: default value in the dropdown box

i have a dropdown box that values come from a table. The value is 555(1) through 555(30). The use want to always show 555(3) in the dropdown box as the default value. How can i create this? I tried the default value that i type in "555(3)". It didn't show up. Thanks for your help.

I'm assuming you mean combobox... Set the "Text" property at design time, that should do it for you.
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

yes, i use combo box. The data is from another table. I couldn't find the text properties? Where is it? I would like the 555(3) always show when they create new record. Thanks.
