    Question Unanswered: Basic Interactive Input Question

    I am relatively new to programming and want to to be able to assign values to a variable on-the-fly by asking and getting user input. I think this would be a value to be entered into a text box by the user and then it could be used in the code. I don't know how to do this and would like to receive some pointers as to how to proceed or how to search Help to find the solution.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Many thanks

    I knew it was simple, but didn't realize it was that easy.

    No problemo. BTW, if the code is somewhere other than behind the form the textbox is on, the "Me" wouldn't work, so in that instance:

    VariableName = Forms!FormName.TextboxName
    Paul
