    Question Unanswered: Search Form

    To start off... I am new to Access and am attempting to build a form to perform a search of system serial#'s and return the corresponding results into the same form ie;

    Make, Model, Location, Computer Name and so on based on the serial# input into the search box.

    I built the form utilizing text boxes corresponding to the tables info I wish to display. I then tryed adding a button (Record Navigation - Find Record) and it brings up the generic search box (which I dont want to use.) I would like to be able to just type in a serial# in the "serial#" text box, click the search button and display the results in the same form.

    Is this possible?

    Please KISS your reply as you are dealing with a complete and utter noobie!

    Many Thanks!
