Hi all!

I've asked this question before, but I'm rephrasing it, hopefully it will be clearer now what I mean.

Each order consists of an enclosure, containing a certain number of installed drives. Every order is logged into the database by entering the enclosure part and serial number, then entering the part and serial numbers of the drives that go with it.

Example: Say you have an order for 3 enclosures with different numbers of hard drives:
Partnumber Serialnumber
Enclosure1
Hard Drive1
Hard Drive2

Enclosure2
Hard Drive1
Hard Drive2
Hard Drive3

Enclosure3
Hard Drive1

To make this system more time efficient, this is what I'm trying to do:
After clicking a button it should prompt with following questions:
q: how many enclosures in order?
A: 3

q:how many hard drives in enclosure1?
A:2
q: How many hard drives in enclosure2?
A: 3
q: how many hard drives in enclosure3?
A:1

Afte answering the last question, it should open another form with the above fields filtered on it, so that form will look like this.

Partnumber Serialnumber
Enclosure1
Hard Drive1
Hard Drive2

Enclosure2
Hard Drive1
Hard Drive2
Hard Drive3

Enclosure3
Hard Drive1

The reason I'm trying to do this is because the way it is now, you HAVE to first scan the enclosure, then the drives, and if you forget to do it properly, you cannot go back and track which hard drives were in which enclosure.

Any suggestions/help would be nice,
Thanks!
(I'm using access 2003)
