    Unanswered: Errors in Alertlog

    Oracle10g R2 on Solaris8.

    Errors reported in alertlog:
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [16500], [kqdcru], [D], [2], [77], [BIN$HodLC1iEHIzgRAADusWAmQ==$0], [], []

    We were having issues in recyclebin for a schema owner. The value "[BIN$HodLC1iEHIzgRAADusWAmQ==$0" indicated here corresponds to a object that got dropped.

    Also, checked the metalink for the above 16500 error no. but there was no recommendation. The other option is to open a iTAR with oracle..

    I welcome any other ideas... thanks.

    Cool

    -- Or --
    Code:
    PURGE RECYCLEBIN;

    Connect through SQL*Plus and execute this statement:

    SQL> PURGE RECYCLEBIN;

    That's what LKBrwn_DBA meant (actually, that's what I think that he meant). Don't blame me, I just work as a dummy translating machine.

    Well we were able to purge from recyclebin though few objects could not be removed completely. But when the application connected and re-created certain objects (not in the "not-purged list") and dropped them.. we started seeing the above errors in the alert log.

    Besides, we would want to retain flashback and recyclebin options enabled.

    thanks.
