Unanswered: Error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]OLE DB error trace

    Hey together,

i'ld like to say hello to the community. I'm pretty new to this whole oracle thing.

We've got a problem in our company. We've updated our oracel-dbs from 8.1.7 to 9.2. We dumped the cb before and importet the dump in the new version. Now when i try to query a view in SQL Server Neterprise Manager it proceeds but after a short while i get the following error:

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]OLE DB error trace [Non-interface error: Columns 'PREIS' (compile-time ordinal 2) of object '"KAPA"."PREISE_TAB"' was reported to have a DBTYPE of 130 at compile time and 5 at run time].

I really can't get nothing out of this error message since i'm not very experienced towards oracle.

Any help would b greatly appreciated

    Sry for this bad english.

    Bye : )

Why do you expect to be able to connect to an Oracle Server using the SQL Server driver?
