    Red face Unanswered: How to automate a macro?

    Hi all,

    I create a macro that run a query and send an e-mail to each recipient. What I need is to automate it so it run's on a daily basis at 8:00 am.

    Use the Windows Task Scheduler or set up a form to run in the background ... And have it invoke your macro.
    Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...

    Move your DB to SQL server and then create DTS Job which sends email to group of recipients on a daily basis

    I use Windows Task Scheduler

    the macro call Autoexec
