    Unanswered: ORACLE Comparson with JBASE

Hi all, is there some way we can compare ORACLE with JBASE. Which one would be better for the banking concern. The bank wants to implement both DSS and Transaction Processing over the same DBMS

Use Google; keywords are "compare oracle jbase". One of the results might be this.

It seems a strange comparison to ask for: Oracle is a major relational (SQL) DBMS, and jBASE appears to be a fledgling multivalue (Pick-style) DBMS. If you don't even know which kind of DBMS you want, how can you be sure you want to choose between these two specific products? Why not SQL Server or DB2? Why not Pick?

thanx Andrewst, i've actually been asked to come up with the DBMS (Let it be any DBMS) that best suits the banking operations. In other words, a DBMS that caters well for both OLTP and OLAP.
I'ld really appreciate your feedback on it.
